It’s also a time of great fun with family and friends at South Haven farms, where the autumn produce is ready for picking. One of the most delightful ways to enjoy a fall day with us is to visit our farms as they come alive with U-pick opportunities.

Also bring the family for fun including wagon tours, barrel train rides, a mini petting zoo and a 10-acre corn maze. You can shop at their market store featuring local fruits and vegetables, jams, jellies, honey, apples and cider as well.

Cranberries (October & November); 8am to 6pm daily
One of South Haven’s most popular blueberry farms is also well known for its cranberries. Visit for Cranberry Harvest Day on October 13, 2018, when the farm offers hayrides into its cranberry bogs so you can watch the harvest in a sea of ripened red.

Apple varieties include, among others, McIntosh, Gala, Honey Crisp, Jonathan, Cortland and Rome. Pears include Clapps, Bartlett and Bosc.

Stroll the orchard’s leafy lanes for varieties such as Jonagold, Red Delicious, Melrose, Northern Spy, Cameo and Fuji. Head over to its pumpkin patch too! Other farm highlights include an animal barn, hayrides, a corn maze and a farm market.

While you're here, also be sure to stop by the South Haven Farm Market downtown at the Huron Street Pavilion. You can shop for fresh local produce, meats and cheeses, as well as herbs, plants, flowers and an array of handmade items. The market is open from 8am to 2pm on Saturdays through October 27.
